Using your Plumas/Sierra County Library Card, you now have access to most of these additional items. Each system has thousands of unique titles the other systems don’t have. We now have an agreement between NLS and the other library systems MARINet and Peninsula Library System (PLS) to expand our collection under the Reciprocal Lending Agreement. While the Library buys items individually, most of the Libby collection is a shared collection with other California libraries that are part of NLS. Reciprocal Lending Agreement (Sept 28 2022): Plumas County Library is part of the NorthNet Library System (NLS). We apologize for the inconvenience and longer wait times this may cause, but it gives us access to a lot more items we wouldn’t otherwise be able to offer. But this also works in reverse-items bought by our library system means you as Plumas and Sierra County patrons get first priority for those items.

The second source consists of items bought by a specific library system and then shared.
